Golden Gatherings SRQ is operated by Golden Gatherings LLC and provides non-medical social companionship membership services for independent older adults in Sarasota, Venice, Osprey, Nokomis, and surrounding approved service areas in Florida.

2. Eligibility and Website Use

By using this website, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years old or are accessing the website with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or authorized representative where appropriate.
• Any information you submit is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
• You will use the website for lawful purposes only.
• You will not interfere with the website’s functionality, security, or accessibility.
• You will not submit fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or unauthorized content through our forms or communication channels.

Submitting an inquiry, contact form, or membership request does not automatically establish a membership or guarantee acceptance, availability, or service delivery.

Membership requests are subject to a complimentary Welcome Conversation, our review and approval, availability, and completion of any required membership documentation.

We may update website content, service descriptions, membership options, and availability from time to time.

4. Membership Plans and Services

Golden Gatherings SRQ currently offers the following membership options:

• Sunshine Membership: $399 per month, including 4 Gatherings.
• Golden Membership: $699 per month, including 8 Gatherings.
• Platinum Membership: $999 per month, including 12 Gatherings.

Each Gathering is thoughtfully planned for up to three hours. Actual scheduling and participation are subject to availability, advance coordination, and the terms of the applicable membership agreement.

Transportation within our designated service area is included with all Golden Gatherings memberships, subject to scheduling, availability, and agreed arrangements.

Memberships do not guarantee participation in every requested activity, event, or outing. Members are encouraged to schedule Gatherings in advance.

Unused Gatherings, rollover eligibility, rescheduling, and any membership-specific restrictions will be governed by the applicable membership agreement or written membership policy.

5. Complimentary Welcome Conversation and Membership Approval

Prospective members may request a complimentary Welcome Conversation to discuss their interests, preferences, expectations, and the services available.

A membership becomes active only after:

1. The Welcome Conversation has taken place.
2. Golden Gatherings has approved the membership request.
3. The required membership agreement and documentation have been completed.
4. The applicable membership payment has been received.

No payment is required before the complimentary Welcome Conversation and membership approval, unless a different arrangement is expressly agreed upon in writing.

Golden Gatherings reserves the right to decline a membership request when the requested services are unavailable, unsuitable for the scope of our offerings, or inconsistent with our service requirements.

6. Membership Payments and Automatic Renewal

Membership fees are charged monthly according to the selected plan and the payment terms disclosed during enrollment.

Where recurring billing is established, the membership will automatically renew each month unless cancelled in accordance with the applicable membership agreement and cancellation policy.

By enrolling in recurring billing, you authorize Golden Gatherings or its designated payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the disclosed membership fee and applicable authorized charges.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, such as Stripe, or through other payment arrangements expressly agreed upon with Golden Gatherings.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information and ensuring that your selected payment method remains valid.

Any changes to membership pricing or billing arrangements will be communicated as required by the applicable agreement and law.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Membership cancellation requests must be submitted using the cancellation method specified in the membership agreement or communicated by Golden Gatherings.

The applicable membership agreement will explain the required notice period, the effective cancellation date, and any conditions relating to scheduled Gatherings.

Refunds, prorated amounts, unused Gatherings, missed appointments, and other billing adjustments will be handled according to the disclosed membership and refund policies and applicable law.

If a Gathering must be cancelled or rescheduled by Golden Gatherings because of weather, safety concerns, staff availability, venue changes, or other circumstances, we will communicate the available rescheduling or other applicable arrangements.

Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation or refund rights that may be required by law.

8. Non-Medical Services and Service Limitations

Golden Gatherings SRQ is a non-medical social companionship service. We do not provide healthcare or personal care services.

Our services do not include:

• Medical care, nursing, or clinical services.
• Diagnosis, treatment, or medical monitoring.
• Medication administration or medication management.
• Bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, or other hands-on personal care.
• Lifting, physical transfers, or mobility assistance requiring hands-on care.
• Continuous supervision, custodial care, or emergency response services.
• Emergency medical transportation or ambulance services.

Golden Gatherings is not a substitute for a licensed healthcare provider, home health agency, personal care provider, assisted living facility, or emergency service.

Members and their families are responsible for arranging any medical, personal care, supervision, or emergency support that may be needed outside the scope of our services.

If a member requires assistance beyond our service capabilities, we may decline, pause, or discontinue the affected activity or service arrangement.

9. Transportation and Service Area

Transportation assistance may be available for eligible Gatherings within our designated service area, subject to the selected membership and agreed arrangements.

Transportation availability, pickup and drop-off locations, scheduling, and any additional charges must be confirmed in advance.

Requests outside our regular service area may be declined or may incur additional charges if agreed upon beforehand.

Transportation provided or arranged through Golden Gatherings is intended to support participation in social activities. It is not an emergency transportation service or a medical transportation service.

Members are responsible for communicating relevant mobility or practical requirements necessary to determine whether a planned outing can be accommodated within our non-medical service scope.

10. Gatherings, Guests, and Participation

Gatherings may require advance registration, confirmation, and coordination.

Participation is subject to availability, membership limits, scheduling, venue requirements, and any applicable activity-specific conditions.

Guests or additional participants may be permitted only with advance approval and subject to available space and any applicable additional fees.

Members are responsible for their own meals, admission fees, tickets, purchases, and personal expenses unless expressly included in writing.

Members are expected to treat other participants, staff, venues, and service providers with courtesy and respect.

Golden Gatherings may decline participation in an activity where conduct, circumstances, or practical requirements create an unreasonable safety concern or disrupt the experience of others.

11. Personal Responsibility and Safety

Members are responsible for making informed decisions about their participation in social activities and outings.

By participating in a Gathering, members acknowledge that ordinary social activities and outings may involve inherent risks, including weather conditions, travel-related risks, uneven surfaces, and activities at public venues.

Members should communicate relevant preferences and practical needs before an activity so that reasonable arrangements can be considered.

Golden Gatherings may modify, postpone, or cancel an activity when circumstances make it impractical or unsafe to proceed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any rights available under applicable law.

12. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, designs, and other materials displayed on this website are owned by or licensed to Golden Gatherings LLC.

These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
